ACE Announces New Head of Travel for UK and Ireland

LONDON--Aug 6, 2012--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE Group today announced three new appointments within its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) travel team as it continues to build its travel business across the region.

Emma Bazard, Relationship Manager for the EMEA region, has been promoted to the new role of Head of Travel for UK and Ireland. The appointment is with immediate effect. Emma will report to Duncan Green, Head of the Accident and Health business for the UK and Ireland, and Chris Price, Regional Director of Travel for EMEA. Emma joined ACE in 2007 as Marketing Services Manager before moving to the travel team in 2009. In this new role, Emma will be responsible for the profitable growth of the UK and Ireland travel business for ACE.

At the same time, Alan Berry joined ACE as Regional Travel Insurance Underwriter for the EMEA region, reporting to Chris Price. Alan joined ACE earlier this year after seven years at ETI International Protection, the UK branch of Europaische Reiseverischerung AG. In this role, Alan will use his pan European experience to support the underwriting team throughout the EMEA region.

In addition, Andre Graham, EMEA Travel Project Co-ordinator, has been promoted to the role of UK & Ireland Travel Underwriter. This is with immediate effect and Andre will report to Emma Bazard. Focusing on ACE’s UK travel business, Andre will manage the travel portfolio with a focus on both new business quotes and renewals. Prior to joining ACE in 2011, Andre worked for Chartis in New Zealand, as an Accident & Health Underwriter.
